Do you like to re-use, recycle, and re-purpose? If you do, you’re a big part of us then. I think its cool to find use for things that had been outdated, thrown away, or are broken, so Anthropologie has been a huge inspiration for us. Its just so amazing to see the creativity in the things that they use throughout the store. Yana has been dreaming about rethinking and remodeling some of our stuff. I’ll have to wear my artist, painter, and craftsman shoes to be able to accomplish all that. In fact, we noticed that there are too many businesses that would build and sell that kind of furniture and accessories. One of the very few that I know is ReVive. Its a relatively new business that specializes in building custom art and furniture out of recovered and discarded materials. My good friend Tim Schulz is behind the wheel of this whole thing. Tim is a very passionate about creating and re-purposing old, and unused materials into art. If you like this kind of stuff – he is the guy to talk to :)
Below are the photographs from a wedding that took place at Sunnyside Country Club. The weather was very uncertain that day. In fact, when we left home it was raining in our part of town. However, by the time ceremony started it still looked gloomy, but no rain and at the end of the ceremony we were even rewarded with some sunshine.
Daniel and Catherina are a gorgeous couple. We’re honored to know them and were blessed to be part of their celebration.
