In a past couple of days we were honored to have our work featured at a few wedding blogs.

Green wedding shoes has been a source of our inspiration for a long time and it was especially fascinating to have our work recognized by them.

We’re thrilled to let you know that one of the wedding we photographed in 2010 was published at Chatty Brides from New England. Nico and Alina definitely deserved their wedding to be featured. They worked really hard and were very unique and creative with every detail of that day. You can follow the link above and let us know what you think about it.

A review…

We’re through the New Year celebration and I think now is a good time for a small review of 2010. Its hard to evaluate a year. Where do you start and what do you compare to? On one hand things always could be better, but on the other hand this year has been a huge blessing for us and things have improved drastically since the year before. I don’t think it would be fair if we start comparing ourselves to other photographers and businesses. So, if we compare 2010 to 2009 one word comes to mind: growth. 2010 has definitely been a year of growth for us. Not only business wise, but personally as well. Someone said that ‘your work is like a shadow that follows you as you grow’. And I think that’s true. Since starting photography business, Yana and I have grown as people. We started enjoying arts, loving people, noticing details – looking at things differently, and appreciating it. As far as business goes, we can only than God and all of our wonderful clients. Its been a monumental year for us! We’ve reached many of our goals for the year and overall became more professional at what we do. And as we start this brand new year we wanted to set a few goals ahead of us, as well. Its kind of scary to set goals – you never know if you fail or not. But again, if you have no direction, you’ll end up where you’re going :) So, goals for 2011 would be: definitely keep working on completing our brand. Its quite an exhausting process – so many things to consider and all of them should underline one message.

Also, this year we want to get exposed as much as possible. We really don’t want to pollute anyone with advertisements, but our ideal way to do so would be to get published at as many places as possible. Its tough, but doable:) And goal number 3 would be: to keep improving our skill level, as well as growing personally. I think that great work is an outer expression of who you are inside. Yana and I are NOT readers. If we buy a thing we don’t read instructions – we just press “start” button and then ask “why it doesn’t work?” But seriously, there is a sea of great literature that I want to pick up and read. Its all about discipline I guess. So pray for our discipline :)

And this year we want to start off by getting our work published for the first time at The Loveliest Day ! Its a good start for what seems to us a great year!
